Patricia J. Hazlett (nee Jakse), 79
Patricia J. Hazlett, 79 of Sullivan, formerly of Lorain, passed from this life on Sunday morning, April 6, 2025 in her home for the past 11 years, following a five year battle with Cancer.
She was born on November 20, 1946 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Frank and Frances (nee Cerkvenic) Jakse.
Pat was raised in Chesterland and graduated from West Geauga High School. She enjoyed both fishing and traveling with her husband.
She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, John “Jack” Hazlett of Sullivan; step-son, John (Ellen) Hazlett; step-daughter, Sue (Brett) Payne; step-grandson, Zach Payne; step-granddaughter, Emily Hazlett; two sisters, Winney and Genevieve (Clarence); brother, Dennis Jakse; and several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by one brother, Jeffrey Anthony Jakse.
In keeping with her wishes, no services will be observed at this time.
