State Route 603 to close April 14 in Ashland County

ASHLAND — State Route 603 will close Monday, April 14 for four consecutive culvert replacements.

Crews will begin work on the culvert closest to U.S. 42 and move north on SR 603 at the locations listed below.

• Location #1 along SR 603 just north of U.S. 42 with an estimated timeline from Monday, April 14 to Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
• Location #2 along SR 603 south of Township Road 1596 with an estimated timeline from Thursday, April 17 to Monday, April 21.
• Location #3 along SR 603 at the intersection of Township Road 1528 with an estimated timeline from Tuesday, April 22 to Monday, April 28. Township Road 1528 will also be closed to traffic during this scheduled culvert replacement.
• Location #4 along SR 603 north of Township Road 1475 with an estimated timeline from Tuesday, April 29 to Friday, May 9.

The detour route for all four culvert replacements will be the same. The detour route for northbound motorists will be SR 603 north to U.S. 42 north to SR 96 (Main St./Sandusky St.) west to SR 603 and reverse for southbound motorists.

Estimated completion of all culverts: Friday, May 9, 2025.
