Gary W. Reynolds, 71
Gary W. Reynolds, 71 of Ashland passed away on Monday evening, April 21, 2025 with his loving family by his side.
He was born on November 4, 1953 in Ashland the son of Thomas and Pauline (nee Finch) Reynolds.
Gary graduated from Mapleton High School, Class of 1971. He married the former, Christie Hardgrove on August 23, 1980.
He retired after more than 30 years from GTE Phone Company where he was a lineman.
Gary was an avid outdoorsman all of his life, hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and sometimes just walking through the woods. He was a devoted bowler for many years and enjoyed watching W.W.E. and Clint Eastwood movies. Most of all he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who would answer to so many names including: Pops, Daddy, Grampa, and Grampy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Christie Reynolds of Ashland; his mother, Pauline Reynolds of Ashland; his children, Sarah (Dustin) Reeves of Ashland and Aaron (Danielle) Reynolds of Ashland; 11 grandchildren, Catie, Noah, Willow, Aspen, Layla, Madison, Reece, Evan, Peyton, D.J., and Annika; five brothers, Doug (Linda) Reynolds, Dennis (Vicky) Reynolds, Jesse (Tammy) Reynolds, Mark Reynolds, and Randy Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary is preceded in death by his father Tom Reynolds; a grandson, Valin Marohn; and a brother, Brad Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Chaplain Susan Wilson and Trudy Bates presiding. Interment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
