JEROMESVILLE — Kael Lewis fired four touchdown passes and three different teammates ran for touchdowns as Hillsdale blasted Doylestown Chippewa 53-0 in Friday night’s Wayne County Athletic League football game.
Lewis got the scoring started early with a 9-yard scoring strike to Knox Lewis. Owen Sloan hit paydirt from 17 yards and Kyle Turk caught a 35-yard TD toss to make it 21-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Seven seconds into the second period, Lewis found Trevor Raubenol for an 11-yard connection, and then Brock Bower on a 5-yard aerial. A.J. Brown booted field goals of 25 and 45 yards to open a 40-0 gap at halftime.
The entire second half was played with a running clock. Reed Magor dashed for a 23-yard TD and Mikey Shenberger’s 3-yard touchdown plunge finished the scoring by the end of the third quarter.
The Falcons are 4-0 overall, 1-0 in the WCAL, and will travel to Dalton next week. The Bulldogs dropped their first loss of the season 35-19 on Friday night at Smithville.
The Chipps are 0-4, 0-1 and host Northwestern next week.
