WOOSTER – The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Radio Dispatcher Susan M. Kelley has been selected for the 2025 Ohio State Highway Patrol Telecommunications Award at the Wooster Dispatch Center.
The selection of Dispatcher Kelley, 63, is in recognition of her outstanding service and dedication throughout 2025 at the Wooster Dispatch Center.
Sworn officers and dispatchers chose Dispatcher Kelley based on her technical job knowledge and ability, teamwork, and prompt and courteous response to the public’s requests for information and assistance.
Dispatcher Kelley joined the Highway Patrol in 2016 and has served at the Wooster Dispatch Center since joining the Highway Patrol.
Dispatcher Kelley has served as a field training dispatcher and was selected as the 2024 Cleveland District Dispatcher of the Year.
As someone who is highly involved in community engagement efforts, Dispatcher Kelley was also a 2024 Gold Star Nominee. Dispatcher Kelley, originally from Muncie, Indiana, currently resides in Ashland, Ohio with her husband, Jim.
