ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in December with the Ashland County Common Pleas Court.

Indictments

The following 14 people were the subject of an indictment and have or will appear in Ashland County Common Pleas Court: 

  • Joshua Coleman, 36, of Ashland, was charged with vandalism. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 9 in connection to an incident authorities say happened Nov. 30.
  • David Dean, 41, of Polk, was charged with violating a protection order. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 9 in connection to an incident authorities say happened Dec. 7.
  • Jeremiah Dixon, 43, of Wooster, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 1 in connection to an incident authorities say happened Nov. 30.
  • Thomas Foley, 19, of Ashland was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile and illegal use of a minor or impaired person. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charges Dec. 12 in connection to incidents authorities say happened between Oct. 1, 2024, to June 1, 2025.
  • Palar Joia Taji Gray, 24, of Mansfield was charged with failure to comply with an order/signal of police and obstructing official business. The Ohio State Highway Patrol filed the charges Dec. 22 in connection to an incident authorities say happened Dec. 19.
  • Connor Herevia, 31, of, Willard, was charged with menacing by stalking. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 23 in connection to an incident authorities say happened Dec. 20.
  • Robert Jones, 42, of Millersport, was charged with possession of cocaine, attempted theft and falsification. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 3 in connection to incidents authorities say happened Dec. 1.
  • Marvin Russell Kirkpatrick, 30, of Ashland, was charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, two counts of possession of cocaine and aggravated trafficking in drugs. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charges Dec. 11 in connection to incidents authorities say happened between July 11 and Sept. 9.
  • Joshua Ricer, 44, of Ashland, was charged with domestic violence. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 15 in connection to an incident authorities say happened Dec. 12.
  • Jaylisa Santana, 24, of Cleveland, was charged with strangulation and two counts of domestic violence. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 9 in connection to incidents authorities say happened between Dec. 7-8.
  • Stacy Lee Simmons, 48, of West Salem, was charged with grand theft, telecommunications fraud and forgery. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charges Dec. 11 in connection to incidents authorities say happened between Oct. 4, 2019, and Dec. 14, 2023.
  • Daniel Starcher, 61, of Akron, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 29 in connection to an incident authorities say happened Dec. 28.
  • Steven Viers, 41, of Ashland, was charged with possession of cocaine. The Ashland Police Department filed the charges Dec. 23 in connection to an incident authorities say happened Dec. 21.
  • Christian West, 28, of Delaware, was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of drugs. An Ashland County grand jury filed the charges Dec. 12 in connection to incidents authorities say happened between Aug. 28-29.
