Lexington showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 10-1 advantage over Wooster as the first quarter ended.

The Generals’ offense moved in front for a 19-17 lead over the Minutemen at the intermission.

Wooster roared to a 37-21 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Generals enjoyed a big enough lead to offset the Minutemen’s 16-14 advantage in the fourth quarter.

In recent action on Jan. 10, Lexington faced off against Sandusky Perkins and Wooster took on Mansfield on Jan. 2 at Wooster High School.
