Rosemary Bright, 91 of Ashland passed from this life on Thursday evening, February 19, 2026 at Brethren Care Village.
She was born on May 4, 1934 in Albion; the daughter of the late Benton L. and Emma Mae (nee Keen) Kiplinger.
Rosemary graduated from Homerville High School, Class of 1952.
It was on November 14, 1954, she married the love of her life Byron “Mac” Bright.
She was a devoted member of Grace Church and remained active in the women’s group. Rosemary was an avid gardener as a lifelong member of the Garden Club. She enjoyed painting both oil and watercolors. Many people will remember her selling Stanley, Mary Kay, and Avon over the years, but she was mostly a homemaker throughout her life.
Rosemary is survived by her three children, Brad (Amy) Bright, Bill (Kimberly) Bright, and Laura Galleher; five grandchildren, Tim (Jessica) Bright, Kim (Dave) Wolbert, Jim (Casey) Bright, Ryan (Marguerite) Galleher, and Shannon (Taylor) Brown, eleven great grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan, Alex, David, Adam, Selah, Kenlee, Jack, Meredith, Willow, and Oakley; and three great-great grandchildren, Samuel, Leon, and Wells.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Mac Bright who passed from this life on November 13, 2024.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 1, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Jackson presiding. Following the service a meal and time of fellowship will be held in the Legacy Room of the funeral home. Family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Ashland Cemetery on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
