The Cougars’ offense jumped in front for a 20-18 lead over the Wildcats at halftime.
Ashland Crestview jumped to a 41-28 lead heading into the final quarter.
The Wildcats outpointed the Cougars 13-12 in the final quarter, but it was not enough to close the gap.
Last time Ashland Crestview and New London played in a 74-50 game on Jan. 18, 2025.
In recent action on Feb. 20, Ashland Crestview faced off against Norwalk St Paul and New London took on Ashland Mapleton on Feb. 20 at New London High School.
