ASHLAND — Kennedy Lacey took her place among the best in northwest Ohio.
Ashland’s 5-foot-8 junior wing, Lacey was selected the Division III Player of the Year when the All-Northwest District teams were introduced Thursday evening.

Lacey led the Arrows to a second consecutive Ohio Cardinal Conference championship. She averaged 22.7 points a game and became Ashland’s career scoring leader with her senior year still in front of her.
Teammate Camryn Cox earned a spot on the all-district second team. The senior forward averaged 9.5 points a game.
Madison Hoffman was a third-team pick. The senior was averaging 14.1 points a game when her season was cut short by a knee injury in January.
Cici Steury was an honorable-mention selection for the Arrows.
Division VI
Crestview’s Tori Kidney earned a spot on the Division VI second team. The senior averaged 12.3 points a game.
Teammate Shelby Bays were honorable-mention pick.
