ASHLAND — The Big Bands and All That Jazz Society of Ashland will host its season finale with the Erik Gimbel Big Band on May 11 at 7 p.m.
A band composed of some of the finest jazz players in the state, they will present a concert consisting of something for everyone, featuring the best in big band jazz writing.
You may also see some of your favorite musicians on the bandstand, including drummer Jim Rupp, trumpeter Dave Banks, saxophonist John Klayman, trombonist Matt Ellis and pianist McCray Martin.
This concert, as always, is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted and memberships are available.
The concert will take place at the King Road Christian Church at 1425 King Road in Ashland. The church is wheelchair accessible.
