Carol Ann Prosser, 83 of Ashland passed away on Thursday morning, April 30, 2026 at Shelby Pointe Nursing Facility in Shelby, Ohio following a period of declining health.
She was born on January 13, 1943, in Nicholas County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Carl Aubrey and Mary Linnie (nee Smalley) Brown.
Carol married the love of her life, Thomas Charles Prosser on September 8, 1972.
For many years, Carol was employed at Meijers and Stones.
Carol was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Loudonville.
She is survived by her children, Mark Alan (Diana) Kerns of Craigsville, West Virginia and Kimberly Ann Modde of British Columbia, Canada; and five grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years who passed away on August 25, 2020.
An interment service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in the Loudonville Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
