MANSFIELD, OH — The Renaissance Performing Arts Association is now accepting virtual audition submissions for the remainder of its 2026–2027 Season. Performers from across the region are invited to audition for an exciting lineup of Broadway favorites, innovative new works, and a collaboration with the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra.
Audition submissions should include 16–32 bars of a song in the style of the production(s) being considered, along with a dance reel, if available. All audition materials must be submitted by Friday, August 14, 2026.
The Renaissance is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming artistic community. Audition submissions are encouraged from performers of all backgrounds, including women, non-binary and transgender individuals, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), and people with disabilities for roles where those characteristics are not essential to the story.
Productions casting through this audition process include:
- Oliver! (Performances November 21–28, 2026), Lionel Bart’s beloved musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel.
- Ruthless! The Musical (January 29–February 7, 2027), the award-winning cult comedy that hilariously satirizes the pursuit of stardom.
- Come From Away (March 12–21, 2027), the internationally acclaimed musical based on the extraordinary true story of a small town’s remarkable kindness following the events of September 11.
- Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (May 1–9, 2027), celebrating the life and music of one of America’s most influential singer-songwriters.
- My Fair Lady in Concert with the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra (May 16, 2027), a special concert presentation of Lerner and Loewe’s timeless musical.
- The Emerging Artists Festival (May–June 2027), featuring two new musicals in development:
- Rathskeller: A Musical Elixir by Brianna Kothari Barnes
- The International Baths Presents The Fabulous Lady B by Gregg Ostrin and Colin Hanlon
