Robert F. Fetters, 68

Robert F. Fetters, 68 of Ashland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, following a courageous battle with Cancer.

He was born on October 9, 1957, in Ashland County the son of the late Charles “Chuck” and Roberta (nee Newell) Fetters.

Bob retired in 2023 after more than 30 years. He was employed at K & C Woodworking and National Latex in the maintenance department.

For more than 21 years, Bob shared his life with his devoted and loving companion, Glenda Bunn.

He was a devout member of the Ray and Joan Kroc Center, Salvation Army where he attended church. Throughout his life, he enjoyed woodworking, listening to music, and both vegetable and flower gardening. Bob was an avid Cincinnati Bengel’s fan.

He is survived by his companion and partner of 21 years, Glenda Bunn of Ashland; four children, Jerry (Rebecca) Fetters of Mansfield, Robert D. (Amy) Fetters of Mansfield, Chris (Samantha) Fetters of Ashland, and Nicholas Fetters of Ashland; two step daughters, Jennifer (Josh Reaser) Bunn of LaGrange and Amy (Kody) Morgan of Ashland; 15 grandchildren, Devon (Tuğül) Fetters of Sandusky, Dexter Fetters of Ashland, Adalyn Williams of Mansfield, Ana Fetters of Mansfield, Azariah Fetters of Mansfield, Zephyr Fetters of Mansfield, Braden Fetters of Mansfield, Arianna Fetters of Mansfield, Damion Fetters of Ashland, Colin Fetters of Ashland, Paisley Fetters of Ashland, Lydia Neece of LaGrange, Nicholas (Aimee) Theis of Columbus, Samantha Morgan of Ashland, and Zoe (Lucas) Hacker of Lakeville; great grandchildren, August and Maxwell; one expected great grandson; two sisters, Cathy (Dale) Paulson of Herbster, Wisconsin and Rebecca Nicoletti of Port Wing, Wisconsin; nephew, Charlie Fetters; and his daughters, Skye and Ariel Fetters; nephews, Josh and Andrew; and niece, Melinda.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Fetters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ray and Joan Kroc Center with Majors Billy and Annalise Francis presiding. Interment will follow in the Nankin Cemetery. Family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Kroc Center.
