Bobby R. Dutton, 74 of Ashland passed away on Friday morning October 16, 2026 in his home following an extended illness.
He was born on January 6, 1952, in Sylacauga, Alabama, the son of the late Arty M. Dutton.
Bobby graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1970. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He married the former Priscilla Hudnut on April 23, 2003.
Bobby retired after more than 36 years from Abbott Laboratories where he worked in maintenance.
Throughout his life, Bobby enjoyed riding motorcycles, his canine companions, but most of all spending time with his wife and family. He enjoyed collecting many things and playing his base guitar.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Priscilla Dutton of Ashland; two children, Tonya Ann Cotton of Ashland and Travis James Troxel of Ashland; six grandchildren, Cayden, Talen, Ledgen, Chevelle, Wyatt and Aubrey; and his three siblings, Brenda Bowman of Ashland, Dottie Dutton of Bailey Lakes, and Donny Dutton of Chillicothe.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home & Crematory.
