ASHLAND – A few spots remain for the Ashland Mayor’s Inaugural Golf Classic Friday, Aug. 17 at Brookside Golf Course. All proceeds from the classic will benefit the golf course.
The format will be a 4-person shotgun scramble. Cost is $75 per player, which includes lunch, golf with cart, range balls and a steak dinner. Check in is from 10 to 11 a.m. with play beginning at 11:30 a.m.
There will also be a putting contest in the morning with the final round occurring after the tournament, opportunity for proximity prizes throughout, and a ball drop event at the conclusion of the day.
After the scramble there will be a steak dinner for participants, volunteers and guests who wish to attend. Dinner-only tickets are available for purchase for $35 per ticket for those who may not want to golf, but still want to join in on the fun.
