ASHLAND — An Ashland man was charged Monday after a double-stabbing incident early Saturday morning, police said.
Ryan Sackett, 27, was charged with second-degree felonious assault after Ashland Police responded to an incident on East 8th Street near Orange Street. Upon arrival, police say they discovered Sackett had assaulted two victims using a knife which was recovered at the scene.
Both victims were hospitalized with multiple stab wounds.
Sackett fled the scene but was captured a short time later by police K9 unit near the railroad tracks located between Orange and Union Street, authorities reported.
