ASHLAND — Ashland high school golfer Klaira Paramore earned medalist honors with a 74 during Saturday’s Ohio Cardinal Conference championship match at Brookside Golf Course.
Paramore’s score tied Lexington’s Hannah Smith. However, Paramore won medalist honors in a scorecard playoff.
Lexington captured the OCC team title by carding a 347. That was just enough to edge second-place Ashland at 349. Wooster was third at 355 and Mansfield Senior was fourth at 576.
The first-team All-OCC honorees include: Paramore, Smith, Lexington’s Alaina Kathrein (83), Ashland’s Emma Packard (84), and Wooster’s Mackenzi Ahrens (87).
The second-team unit consists of: Wooster’s Lizzy Hohman (87) and Ashley Ragusa (90), Lexington’s Hannah Whitney (91) and Wooster’s Abbi Jones (91).
The third-team players are: Ashland’s Makaree Chapman (93) and Kyah Huckleberry (93), Lexington’s Trynity Wolfe (94), Ashland’s Lydia Wells (99), and Lexington’s Sofia Masi (99).
