Ashland Chautauqua’s Silver Celebration – Special Spring 2024 Workshop

Ashland Chautauqua and the Ashland County Historical Society welcome scholar Dr. John Dennis Anderson who will be presenting “The Sinatra of the Soil”, a look at the life and work of Louis Bromfield, a local Pulitzer Prize winning author, conservationist, and owner of Malabar Farm, as part of the Ashland County Historical Society’s Speaker Series. Dr. Anderson is a performance studies scholar and Professor Emeritus in Communication Studies at Emerson College in Boston. Dr. Anderson has appeared at Ashland Chautauqua many times.

He is the featured scholar for Ashland Chautauqua’s special 3-day April event.

The event is free and open to the public.
