ASHLAND — On Monday, May 1 at 7 p.m., the Erik Gimbel Big Band will appear live in concert for the season finale of Ashland’s Big Bands and All That Jazz Society.
Leader/lead trumpeter Erik Gimbel, who also is a regular with the Artistic Jazz Orchestra at the Renaissance Theatre, is from Galion and leads this band of great musicians from North East/Central Ohio.
The band will play numerous big band hits, jazz standards, and fan favorites. The concert will be held at the First Christian Church at 1425 King Road in Ashland.
