The renewal of Ashland City School District’s 9.9-mill operating levy was successful Tuesday evening.
According to final, unofficial vote totals from the Ashland County Board of Elections, the measure passed by a count of 5,516 (59.87 percent) in favor and 3,698 (40.13) opposed.
The county auditor estimates it will collect $5,684,595 annually at a cost to homeowners of $210 per each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value. As a renewal, it will not involve any additional taxation.
