ASHLAND – Two country music stars will perform at the Ashland County Fair this fall.

John Michael Montgomery and Collin Raye will be in concert on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for track and bleacher seats and $20 for grandstand tickets.

Tickets are on sale now at the fair office. Tickets are also available online

Montgomery has built one of country music’s most storied careers by singing a combination of love songs (“I Swear,” “I Can Love You Like That”) and pure fun songs (“Be My Baby Tonight,” “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident”).

During his 25-plus year career, Montgomery has had more than 30 Billboard country hits and seven No. 1 songs. He has released 10 studio albums, including his most recent, 2008’s “Time Flies” which he released on his own Stringtown Records label.

Raye played with The Wrays under the name Bubba Wray from 1983 to 1987 before changing his name to perform solo as Collin Raye.

Raye has four No. 1 Billboard country music singles and four platinum albums. Raye’s 12th album, “Everlasting” was released in December 2014.

The pair follow The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels Band and The Gatlin Brothers as country musicians headlining the Ashland County Fair.
