ASHLAND, Ohio — Nomination forms for Ashland County Women of Achievement are now available at the Ashland Public Library and the Loudonville Public Library.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, July 17.
Nominees should be women who have reached beyond themselves to contribute substantially to the quality of life in Ashland County through involvement with family, career, community and social issues.
Any woman living in Ashland County is eligible for the award. The nominee must be 21 years or older. Nominees will be evaluated on the scope and impact of the achievements and the extent to which their efforts have contributed to improving the quality of life for the residents of Ashland County.
Kay Conrad established the Women of Achievement Awards in 1991 and created a fund as a permanent legacy to the women of Ashland County.
A ceremony to honor the inductees will take place Thursday, Sept. 7, at Bella Bleu’s in Ashland.
