ASHLAND — Firelands Electric Cooperative has announced the winners of The A Team drawing for the month of February.
Katelyn Smeltzer, daughter of Jason and Jennifer Smeltzer of Perrysville, is an eighth-grader at Hillsdale Middle School. Mason Weber is also an eighth-grade student at Hillsdale Middle School, and is the son of Michael and Belinda Weber of Loudonville. Logan Squire is the son of Lee and Kelly Squire of New London, and is a sixth-grader at New London Middle School.
Sponsored by Firelands Electric, The A Team recognizes students in grades 6 to 8 who had a minimum of three A’s on their most recent report card. Applicants must also reside in a home served by the co-op. Students who submit a qualifying report card are put into a drawing held after each grading period.
Three winners from each drawing receive an iTunes gift card and are recognized on Firelands’ website and social media outlets. The deadline for the next drawing is April 10.
