ASHLAND – Stock up on candy and ready the costumes. Halloween is fast approaching.
Here’s a list of Trick-or-Treat, parade and costume contest times in Ashland and nearby villages:
Downtown Ashland – Costume Capers Trick-or-Treat and block party 5 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23. To take part in the parade, meet at 5:30 p.m. in front of Whoopsie Daisy Boutique (122 E. Main St.) There will also be a costume contest for kids and pets.
City of Ashland – Trick-or-Treat 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25
Jeromesville – Trick-or-Treat 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25
Hayesville – Trick-or-Treat 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25
Mifflin – Trick-or-Treat 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25
Savannah – Trick-or-Treat 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25
Downtown Loudonville – Parade (Budd School to Street Fair building) lines up at 3:30 p.m. and steps off at 4 p.m. Oct. 27. Costume contest judging will immediately follow the parade at the Fair center on North Water Street. Trick-or-treat at downtown businesses will be 5-6 p.m.
Village of Loudonville – Trick-or-Treat 6-7 p.m. Oct. 27
Perrysville parade and costume contest – Parade lines up at 3:30 p.m. and steps off at 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at the fire house. Costume judging will be held in front of the Community Center with categories including Ages 1-3, Couples, Animals, TV Characters, Scariest, Adults, Miscellaneous and Most Original (homemade).
Village of Perrysville – Trick-or-Treat 5:30-8 p.m. Oct. 27.
