MADISON TOWNSHIP — Her high school career is only half over, but Taylor Huff is well on her way to rewriting the Madison record books.

A sophomore and the two-time Richland Source Girls Soccer Player of the Year, Huff has 65 goals and 40 assists in in 44 matches. Madison’s winning percentage during that time is a jaw-dropping .841 (37-4-3). The Rams qualified for the Division II Final Four in 2017 and reached the regional semifinals this fall before falling 1-0 to eventual state runner-up Bay.

In two district matches against area heavyweights Lexington and Ontario, Huff had seven goals.

“It’s just amazing knowing your hard work paid off,” Huff said at the time. “I can’t wait to see how far we can go.”

A two-time Division II All-Ohio first team pick, Huff verbally committed to the University of Tennessee in May. She was selected the North Central Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year in Division II and is the two-time reigning Ohio Cardinal Conference Offensive Player of the Year.

“She just has another gear than most girls,” said her father and Madison coach Zac Huff.

Huff is the crown jewel of an All-Richland Source Girls Soccer Team that includes eight All-Ohioans.
