Are you a writer? Do you know a writer? Are you the parent or teacher of a budding writer?
If so, we would like to hear from you.
Consider this a call to local high school keyboards from Ashland Source. We would like to incorporate some of the younger voices in our community to our forum.
The lines are broad here. The topic can be fiction, non-fiction, biographical, autobiographical, adventure, student life and more. Let’s keep stories to 1,000 words or less.
We strongly suggest family-friendly language and subjects here, as this is a family-friendly publication. Also, this isn’t a chance to pillage the school system or slander a teacher or a boss. Thus, content is subject to our approval.
We would like to feature one student writer per week if possible. Students from throughout Ashland County are encouraged to send us a submission, if possible a picture to go with that story and a mug shot of the author.
Tell us what school you attend and your class (freshman, sophomore, junior or senior).
Send the submissions to us at news@RichlandSource.com. Be sure to put Student Spotlight in the subject line.
OK, let’s see what kind of creative juice Ashland County high school students have. Here’s your chance. Fire away.
