Stretched out and finally snapped, Leavittsburg LaBrae put just enough pressure on Warren Champion to earn a 62-49 victory in Ohio boys basketball on March 5.

The Golden Flashes showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 17-11 advantage over the Vikings as the first quarter ended.

Warren Champion took a 27-11 lead over Leavittsburg LaBrae heading to the intermission locker room.

The Vikings broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 46-43 lead over the Golden Flashes.

The Vikings’ kept the advantage through the final quarter with a 16-6 scoring edge over the Golden Flashes.
