The Thunderhawks opened with a 3-2 advantage over the Firebirds through the first quarter.
Liberty Township Lakota East’s offense jumped to a 5-2 lead over West Chester Lakota West at the intermission.
There was no room for doubt as the Thunderhawks added to its advantage with a 4-1 margin in the closing period.
Both teams was scoreless in the third quarter.
