ASHLAND – Ashland County Yesteryear Machinery Club invites the community to attend its 27th Annual Show July 6 and 7.
Held on the grounds of Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center, 1783 State Route 60, the show includes a wide range of tractors, farm equipment and other machinery.
While many makes and models are always on display, the show features one brand of tractors each year. This year’s featured brand is Avery & B. F. Avery. Also featured this year will be Hercules and Jeager engines.
Weather permitting, guests can enjoy wagon rides and kiddie rides with “Railroad Gary.” Handicap accessible transportation will be available around the grounds.
The event also includes a car show; a craft, parts and flea market; a model railroad display; tractor and truck pulls and kiddie pedal pulls.
Admission and parking are free, but donations are accepted. Food will be available for purchase, including ice cream made with a once-cylinder antique engine.
The show kicks off with an opening ceremony 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6 and continues all day.
Sunday’s activities begin with a 9 a.m. church service, followed by a car show starting at 10 a.m. There is no fee to participate in the car show, but participants must become Yesteryear Machinery Club members to take part. Membership is $10 for a year.
Sign-up for the kiddie tractor pulls is at noon Sunday, and the pulls begin at 1 p.m.
