While surfing the various channels on television, we’ve all seen some form of a ghosthunting show — night-vision cameras recording hopeful individuals aiming at opening the world’s eyes to the existence of paranormal entities.
Are there truly ghosts living among us in the modern world? Are local legends really true about apparitions reappearing where they supposedly met their maker long ago?
Equipped with an EMF (electromagnetic field) detector, Ashland Source intern Zach Read (working as a cameraman) and I will set out to investigate phantom hot spots with the lighthearted intention to make some spooks chortle.
Each week this October, we will explore various “haunted” locations around Ashland and surrounding counties in attempts to tell some jokes and make some ghosts laugh, and ideally catch these cackles on camera.
And we are asking for the community’s assistance.
Do you know of some local ghost stories that you’d like investigated? Â
Have you ever had a paranormal experience at a certain locale that still chills your bones to this day?
Do you have a hilarious joke that makes your friends laugh every single time?
Contact us by leaving a comment below or send an email to wodonnell96@gmail.com. Help us make some ghosts laugh this October season.
With the community’s help, perhaps we can bring some late-night entertainment to the spirits that lurk in the shadows around us.
