ASHLAND — Two Ashland County students have earned Ashland County West Holmes Career Center Student of the Month honors for February, according to a press release from the school.
Morgan Bednar, Mapleton High School, and Brandon Schmidt, Loudonville High School were named Career Center Students of the Month for February.
Bednar, in the Career Center’s Health Technology program, was named the Junior Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Matt and Amy Bednar and resides in Ashland.
Schmidt, in the Career Center’s Maintenance Training program, was named the Senior Student of the Month. He is the son of Fritz Schmidt and Stephanie Viola and resides in Loudonville.
Both students will be recognized at the March regular meeting of the Career Center’s Board of Education and each will be given a certificate and gift card in recognition of this honor.
