ASHLAND — The Ashland County-West Holmes Career Culinary students will present a “Classic Southern Buffet” in The White Apron Restaurant.
The Culinary students had their poultry lesson and practiced cutting a whole chicken. What do you do with all that chicken? Make fried chicken!
The public is invited to join them on Thursday, March 18, from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a “Classic Southern Buffet.” There will be two seatings. One at 10:45 a.m. and one at 11:45 a.m.
The buffet menu will include Brunswick stew, southern fried chicken, fried catfish, glazed meatloaf, baked macaroni and cheese, grits and cheddar cheese casserole, collard greens with ham hocks and cornbread, dessert table and beverage.
Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 419-289-3313 ext. 2233. Cost is $9.95 per person (tax and tip not included).
