ASHLAND — Campbell’s Snacks in Ashland is looking to fill 30 jobs, according to a press release issued Monday.
The facility will host a job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 2041 Claremont Ave. Interviews will be done there and applications are available online.
The company’s website shows positions such as packers, flavor operators, machine operators and a project engineer. The pay is between $14.85 to $17.30 per hour with benefits.
Campbell Soup Co., based in Camden, New Jersey, acquired Snyder’s-Lance in 2018 for $4.87 billion, creating a “snacking powerhouse,” the company said in a statement. At the time, it marked the company’s sixth and largest acquisition over five years.
The move means Campbell now owns Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels, Goldfish crackers, Late July tortilla chips, Kettle Brand potato chips, Cape Cod potato chips, Milano cookies, Pepperidge Farm cookies and bread and Lance cracker sandwiches.
“Campbell is honored to be the home of not only these unique and diverse set of snacking brands but also the wonderful people that create the recipes and bring these products to market. The culture of care and respect that started in Ashland remains a big part of who we are today,” the company said.
