OLIVESBURG — There’s no place like home for Crestview.
The undefeated and second-seeded Cougars will return to Olivesburg for a second straight week in the Ohio High School football playoffs.
This week they will welcome No. 7 Colonel Crawford (10-1) to Scott Bailey Memorial Field for a Division VI, Region 22 quarterfinal at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Last week, The Cougars (11-0) advanced with a 42-7 win over Northwood. Meanwhile, the Eagles pounded Cardinal Stritch 50-0.
In Region 21 of Division VI, No. 12 Hillsdale will visit No. 4 Mogadore. The Falcons (7-4) upset No. 5 Middlefield Cardinal, while Mogadore (8-3) held off No. 13 Canton Central Catholic 21-13.
Also in Region 21, seventh-seeded Black River (8-3) is at No. 2 Columbia Station Columbia (10-1).
Mansfield Sr., which is 5-0 all-time in playoff games at Arlin Field, will welcome Parma Padua to town Friday for the Division III, Region 10 quarterfinals.
Fourth-seeded Senior High (9-2) knocked off No. 13 Lexington 37-21 in last week’s opening round to remain perfect at home.
No. 5 Parma Padua (8-2) advanced with a 34-14 win over Cleveland Central Catholic.
In Division IV, Region 14, No. 7 Shelby (9-2) will visit No. 2 Clyde at 7 p.m. Friday. The Whippets advanced with a 28-7 win over Clear Fork. Clyde (9-2) roughed up Galion 56-7.
After this weekend, playoff games will be shifted to neutral sites for the regional semifinals, regional finals and state semifinals. The state championship games in all seven divisions will be played Dec. 2 to 4 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
Division I, II, III and IV games are Friday, Nov. 5.
Division V, VI and VII games are Saturday, Nov. 6.
