ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in November with Ashland County Court of Common Pleas.
• Nicholas A. Dunn, 32, of Ashland, was charged with theft and unauthorized use of property. Charges were filed by Ashland Police Department on Nov. 19 in connection with an incident authorities said happened between July 17 and Sept. 13 along the 1600 block of Cleveland Avenue.
• Marisa A. James, 30, of Shaker Heights, was charged with improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon. Charges were filed by Ohio State Highway Patrol on Nov. 19 in connection with an incident authorities said happened Oct. 16 in Ashland County.
• Christopher Parsons, 39, of Mansfield, was charged with failure to stop after an accident. The charge was filed by Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 18 in connection with an incident authorities said happened Oct. 27 in Ashland County.
• Kenneth D. Sheets, 23, of Ashland, was charged with felonious assault and aggravated menacing. Charges were filed by Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 19 in connection with an incident authorities said happened Nov. 14 in Ashland County.
• Charles Spitzer, 56, of Sullivan, was charged with breaking and entering, theft from a person in a protected class and criminal damaging or endangering. Charges were filed by Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 19 in connection with an incident authorities said happened Aug. 15 in Ashland County.
• Mashell D. Young, 31, of Westerville, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drugs and three OVI-related charges. Charges were filed by Ohio State Highway Patrol on Nov. 19 in connection with an incident authorities said happened July 3 in Ashland County.
