ASHLAND — Ashland Source’s Dillon Carr joined WRDL The Early Bird’s Word hosts Nicholas Stupka and Brandon Gunder on Thursday to talk about the latest local news.
In this week’s show, Carr highlighted a story out of the Village of Mifflin where one of its council members, Fred Craig, was arrested and charged with menacing by stalking. The victim in the case was also a council member, Joyce Amos.
He also talked about Ashland police’s plan to purchase four new vehicles. Two of them will be pickups, a first for the department’s fleet.
The third story was about Ashland County’s project that involves installing a new heating, venting and air conditioning system in the courthouse. The project is over budget by $147,444, or 21% of the original sticker price of $690,543.
An Ashland Source staff member features top stories from the last week every Thursday morning on WRDL’s The Early Bird’s Word.
