SALT CREEK TOWNSHIP – Two teens were killed Tuesday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash involving a dirt bike in Wayne County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The two teens were not identified by the Patrol.

The incident occurred at 3:38 p.m. at the intersection of Criswell Road and Salt Creek Road in Salt Creek Township.

The crash involved a gray 2017 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Krista M. Ware 32, of Fredericksburg, and an orange and white 2004 Honda CRF250R dirt bike operated by a 16-year-old juvenile.

Initial investigation revealed Ware was westbound on Salt Creek Road. The juvenile driver operating the dirt bike was traveling northbound on Criswell Road.
