ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in April with Ashland County Court of Common Pleas.
• Rickey L. Akers Jr., 37, of Ashland, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound. The charge was filed by Ashland Police Department on April 8 in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on Dec. 5, 2021.
• Nrujal K. Amin, 45, of Ashland, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and possessing criminal tools. Charges were filed by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on April 18 in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on Dec. 20, 2021.
• Anthony J. Bell, 33, of Ashland, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound. The charge was filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on April 14 in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on Aug. 10, 2021.
• Matthew Dewitt, 26, of Loudonville, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by the Ashland County Grand Jury on April 14 in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on Nov. 27, 2021.
• Tina R. Franks, 40, of Perrysville, was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of drugs. The charges were filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on April 14 in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on Nov. 16, 2021.
• Seth Hay, 28, of Mansfield, was charged with six counts of petty theft and two counts of theft. The charges were filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on April 14 in connection with eight incidences that authorities say occurred in January and February.
• Jacob Jackson, 19, of Spencer, was charged with theft, petty theft and misuse of credit cards. The charges were filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on April 14 in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on Feb. 16.
• Ta’Shonn Jefferson, 21, of Reynoldsburg, was charged with deception to obtain a dangerous drug. The charge was filed April 5 by Loudonville police in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on April 4.
• Stephen Messier, 39, of Polk, was charged with having weapons under disability. The charge was filed April 8 by Ashland Police in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on April 7.
• Brandon Morrison, 33, of Nova, was charged with domestic violence. The charge was filed April 28 by Ashland Police in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on April 26.
• Brandon Price, 41, of Wooster, was charged with two counts of having weapons under disability. The charges were filed April 5 by Ashland Police in connection with an incident authorities say happened on April 3.
• Ashley A. Sexton, 34, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by an Ashland Grand Jury on April 14 in connection with an incident authorities say happened on April 24, 2021.
• Jeremy Simon, 33, of Marengo, was charged with burglary, obstructing official business, failure to comply with an order from a police officer, breaking and entering and unauthorized use of property. The charges were filed April 4 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on April 1.
• Faubert Stvil, 39, of Dayton, was charged with failure to comply with an order from a police officer. The charge was filed April 1 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol in connection with an incident that authorities say happened on March 31.
• Kimberly Sutton, 38, of Wooster, was charged with two counts of having weapons under disability. The charges were filed April 5 by Ashland Police in connection with an incident authorities say happened on April 3.
• Jacob L. Weaverling, 24, of Ashland, was charged with disrupting a public service and domestic violence. The charged was filed April 18 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection with an incident authorities say happened on Jan. 29.
• Terri A. Willison, 32, of Loudonville, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possessing drug abuse instruments. The charges were filed April 14 by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection with an incident authorities say happened on Aug. 16, 2021.
