ASHLAND – Brethren Care Village, a senior living community, has announced Honoring Excellence winner Kelly Dull, an associate of Belmont Tower Assisted Living located on their campus in Ashland.

This award is given annually to outstanding employees that demonstrate vision, innovation, leadership, and compassion in their role, by the Ohio Assisted Living Association (OALA), representing over 585 licensed Assisted Living Communities in Ohio.

Dull won the award as Outstanding Life Enrichment Coordinator. Kelly represents the values the Ohio Assisted Living Association looks for in Honoring Excellence nominees.

Belmont Tower Assisted Living Director, Molly Bartholomew, submitted a letter to OALA stating:

“One of the most challenging things we faced during the pandemic was keeping the residents entertained when group activities were no longer permitted, and visitation was restricted for families. Kelly rose to the challenge and brought fun and entertainment to the residents individually.

“Kelly embraces adventure and makes each day fun and exciting. She innovative in integrating new ideas and uses old favorites to enhance the residents’ quality of life.”

Winners of the award are nominated by their community and selected by a committee of the Ohio Assisted Living Association Board of Trustees.
