ASHLAND — Ashland Elks 1360 is the sponsoring lodge of Ohio Elks Association scholarship winner Ashlee Gantz.

Gantz, a member of the class of 2022 at Ashland High School, is the recipient of a $2,000 Educational Fund Grant.

Gantz was a member of the National Honor Society and was active in 4-H for 10 years, serving as club president, vice-president and secretary.

She served on the Ashland County Junior Fair Board for three years.

Gantz will be attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

She plans to major in middle childhood education.

She is the daughter of Ray and Melanie Gantz and niece of Sean Bartley, Past Exalted Ruler of the Ashland Lodge.
