ASHLAND — U.S. 250, between Smithville Western Road and Camp Road, will close Monday, August 1 for a culvert replacement.

There will be two posted detour routes: 1.) U.S. 250 south to I-71 south to U.S. 30 east back to U.S. 250, and 2.) U.S. 250 south to U.S. 42 south to SR 60 south to U.S. 30 east to U.S. 250, and reverse for northbound traffic.

Estimated completion: Wednesday, August 31, 2022

*Note, the current closure and project work at the U.S. 250 and SR 89 intersection will still be in effect during this new closure,” ODOT stated. “The contractor will be revising and adding additional detour and closure signage for the new closure and will enhance the existing signage prior to the closure.

“This closure is being implemented at the same time at the U.S. 250/SR 89 intersection closure to minimize the duration that U.S. 250 is closed between Ashland and Wooster.”
