Jetstream: Shelby’s early advantage leaves Lexington in its wake

Shelby broke to an early lead and topped Lexington 53-21 in Ohio high school football on August 26.

Shelby jumped in front of Lexington 21-0 to begin the second quarter.

The Whippets opened a towering 28-6 gap over the Minutemen at halftime.

Neither defense permitted points in the third quarter.

There was no room for doubt as the Whippets added to their advantage with a 25-15 margin in the closing period.
