ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in August with Ashland County Court of Common Pleas.
• Joshua L. Clark, 40, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, possession of a fentanyl-related compound and petty theft. The charges were filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on Aug. 11 in connection with an incident authorities say happened on Feb. 15.
• Nathan Cline, 35, of Nankin, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by Ashland Police Department on Aug. 3 in connection with an incident authorities say happened on July 30.
• Edward Eller, 52, of Ashland, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a fentanyl-related compound. The charge was filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on Aug. 11 in connection with an incident authorities say happened July 1.
• Harold Gibson Jr., 59, of Brook Park, was charged with an extradition complaint following a traffic stop by an Ashland County sheriff deputy. The charge was filed Aug. 15 following a traffic stop on Aug. 1. The case is now considered closed.
• Jeffrey L. Montague, 35, of Ashland, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound. The charge was filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury in connection with an incident authorities say happened April 2.
• David Owens, 61, of Ashland, was charged with 19 sex-related crimes, including rape and gross sexual imposition. Charges were filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on Aug. 11 in connection with incidents authorities say happened between August 1995 to November 2019.
• Jose Rivera, 52, of Ashland, was charged with two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The charges were filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on Aug. 11 in connection with an incident authorities say happened July 31.
• Joseph D. Smith, 56, of Mansfield, was charged with failure to appear as required by recognizance. The charge was filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on Aug. 11 in connection with an incident authorities say happened July 26.
• Janet Stull, 43, of Perrysville, was charged with possession of drugs. The charge was filed by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 30 in connection with an incident authorities say happened April 14.
• Jonce Stull, 44, of Perrysville, was charged with possession of drugs. The charge was filed by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 30 in connection with an incident authorities say happened April 14.
• Derek Welton, 29, of West Salem, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed by an Ashland County Grand Jury on Aug. 11 in connection with an incident authorities say happened Feb. 26.
• Jeffrey Sours, 58, of Ashland, was charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor. The charge was filed by Ashland Police Department on Aug. 31 in connection with an incident authorities say happened Aug. 29.
