ASHLAND — The Back Seat Driver contest was held in the front of the Grandstand on Saturday afternoon of the Ashland County Fair. Members of the Fair Board conducted the fun contest and presented cash prizes to the top two teams.

The contest requires the blindfolded driver of the supplied golf cart to be directed by their team partner along the marked course in the fastest time.

1st Justin and Carrie Blair, 1 minute 24 seconds.

2nd Josh and Misti Berry, 1 minute 33 seconds.

3rd Makaya Spoerr and Hayley Spoerr, 1 minute 37 seconds.

4th Alex and Tasha Murry, 1 minute 1 minute 40 seconds.

5th Mike and Mackenzie Spoerr, 1 minute 45 seconds.

6th Kurtis and Tiffany Roberts, 1 minute 51 seconds.

7th Brittany Smith and Grace Tobias, 1 minute 53 seconds.

Small Fry Car Race

Friday at the fair parents, siblings and others of 2, 3, and 4 year old fair attendees for the Small Fry Car Race held in the Pavilion. The contest was conducted by the Auxiliary and fair board members for the young fair attendees. The goal was to race the foot powered cars down a marked tract the fastest in each age division to win.

Trophies and prizes were presented. Raylyn Fliger, Board Director was the race judge.
