ASHLAND — The Ashland County Health Department conducted over 30 regular inspections last month, below is a list of businesses they inspected and the number of violations they found.

Not included are the 20 plus “consultation” inspections that the health department conducted on vendors at the Loudonville Street Fair. Consultation inspections generally do not include violations, just the temperature of important food items.

A full list of the inspections the department has completed in 2022 is available here.

The health department conducts inspections “one to four times per year, depending on the complexity of a facility’s menu and their potential risk of a foodborne illness,” according to its website.

Inspectors look for things like proper cleaning, handling of food, hand-washing, and good temperature logs, according to the reports.
