ASHLAND — Animatronic dinosaurs are set to roam the Ashland County Fairgrounds this weekend.
For $12 per vehicle, people can drive through certain areas of the fairgrounds to spectate on the extinct creatures that have taken on new life through Jurassic Wonder.
The event is geared for children aged 1 to 12 and comes with a guided audio tour. Dinosaurs move and make noises, according to the website.
Some of the dinosaurs on display include a T-rex, a carnotaurus, stegosaurus and a few others.
A fairgrounds spokesperson said the dinosaurs will likely be set up sporadically on the fair’s asphalt drive. She said there will likely be T-shirts and other souvenirs for purchase included at the end of the tour.
Jurassic Wonder will be in Ashland from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 7 and 8.
