ASHLAND — As 2023 chugs along, so too does the Ashland County Health Department.
In February, the agency inspected 13 local restaurants and eateries, including national chains KFC and Taco Bell.
Health department inspectors visit local food vendors “one to four times a year” to ensure that they are in compliance with Ohio’s Food Safety Regulations, according to its website.
Additionally, all local food vendors are required to have a license from the health department.
A full list of the department’s inspections completed this year and in 2022 is available here.
