ASHLAND — At the beginning of April, Ashland Source published a roundup of all the restaurant inspections the Ashland County Health Department conducted in February, like we do at the beginning of every month.

As it turns out, the health department wasn’t done uploading February’s inspections at the time of our last article. They added 29 more inspections they did that month, including a few at chains like Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s.

Health department inspectors visit local food vendors “one to four times a year” to ensure that they are in compliance with Ohio’s Food Safety Regulations, according to its website.

Additionally, all local food vendors are required to have a license from the health department.

A full list of the department’s inspections completed this year and in 2022 is available here. The table below includes the 29 new February inspections at the top and the 13 old ones at the bottom, separated by a solid black line.
