Douglas H. Clark, 79, of Ashland, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Brethren Care Village, Wassen Rehab Center following a brief illness. He was born November 26, 1943 in Ashland to the late Howard S. and Helen (Tharp) Clark, both of Ashland.
Doug was a 1961 graduate of Ashland High School and attended The Ohio State University.
His lifelong love of automobiles began as a young boy with his extensive collection of model cars. This ultimately led to an almost 50 year career in the automotive business in sales and management, the last 18 years with Donley Ford of Ashland.
He is survived by his sister, Diane Clark (Dale T.) Hartney of Columbus; his niece, Erin H. Layden and her daughters, Lydia and Anna Layden of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and numerous cousins and dear friends.
At Doug’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. There will be a private interment at a later date.
